Meet Sonia Graham
A Christian counsellor in Adelaide with a heart for supporting women through life’s challenges
We all need a little extra help and support at times, I have been there myself.
Seeking help takes courage and starting counselling can feel like a big step, often accompanied by uncertainty about what lies ahead. When we’re met with genuine support—when we feel seen, heard, and valued—it opens the door to healing and growth. I aim to give all my clients an experience of genuine support so they can then experience their own healing and growth.
With over 15 years experience in helping people through life’s challenges and more than a few of my own, I know what a privilege and a responsibility it is when people trust you with their lives. I became a counsellor because I love walking alongside those who are struggling, supporting and empowering people to thrive in the midst of challenges.
You might say counselling found me. With a background in pastoral care, people often came to me for help when they found themselves struggling with the challenges of life. I discovered a passion for counselling which led me to pursue formal qualifications and become a registered counsellor.
With a client-centred, trauma-informed, and integrative approach, I incorporate lived experience alongside evidence-based therapeutic strategies to address each client’s unique needs. Together, we’ll work towards finding clarity, growth, and positive change in your life.
On a personal note, I am a wife, mother of three adult daughters and nana. I love the ocean, enjoy creativity, a good book and need a good coffee everyday.
I offer individual counselling for women (18+) across a range of areas.
I specialise in Christian counselling if that is your preference.
I currently offer convenient online sessions, including weekends and evenings.
and in-person sessions through LifeWell West.
